My Special Prayer for You

Hey y'all and welcome to another Teaching Tuesday Thread. Last week we were celebrating our Savior's birth. Since a new year starts this week (tomorrow), I wanted to share some scriptures with you that I'm using a special prayer for you. Isaiah 44:3 AMP For I will pour out water on him who is thirsty, And streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring And My blessing on your descendants; Isaiah 45:8 AMP “Rain down, O heavens, from above, Let the clouds pour down righteousness [all the blessings of God]; Let the earth open up, let salvation bear fruit, And righteousness spring up with it; I, the Lord , have created it. Malachi 3:10 AMP Bring all the tithes (the tenth) into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you [so great] a blessing until there is no more room to receive it. 2 Corinthians 5:17 AMP Therefo

My Present to You!

Hey y'all, and welcome to another Teaching Tuesday Thread! I pray y'all are doing great. This week I'll be explaining my gifts to you! Essentially this is an explanation of why I created this blog as well as my YouTube and bitchute channels. But all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ [making us acceptable to Him] and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [so that by our example we might bring others to Him], 2 Corinthians 5:18 AMP https://bible.com/bible/1588/2co.5.18.AMP And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God. 2 Corinthians 5:18 TPT https://bible.com/bible/1849/2co.5.18.TPT The MSG translation says it best! Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see

Tis the Season

Hey y'all! I pray everyone is doing great! The scripture I'm using for this week's Teaching Tuesday Thread is a perfect reminder for our behavior not just for this time of year, but all year round. But love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; for your reward will be great (rich, abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High; because He Himself is kind and gracious and good to the ungrateful and the wicked. Luke 6:35 AMP https://bible.com/bible/1588/luk.6.35.AMP So when we, followers of Christ Jesus, talk about love it also includes those we'd rather not be nice to. I'm talking about people that aren't nice to us, right down mean people, even the wicked. Now let's make clear that I'm not saying let them treat you anyway they want, no! I am saying though that we do need to show kindness and giving without expecting anything in return. I'll be the first to adm

Secretly Giving?

Hey y'all! Today's scripture actually fits perfectly for my "Teaching Tuesday Thread", at least for me it does.  But when you give to the poor and do acts of kindness, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing [give in complete secrecy], Matthew 6:3 AMP https://bible.com/bible/1588/mat.6.3.AMP Wow, this blew my mind!  Keep our giving a secret? Is God really serious? Could He possibly really mean that? The answer is yes! Obviously, since this is scripture, then this is  the Word of God. You can plainly see that God is making an absolute serious point with the context used, "Do not let you left hand know what your right hand is doing". That's how serious a secret is meant. The same metaphor is used in the NIV translation as well.  But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, Matthew 6:3 NIV https://matthew.bible/matthew-6-3 In my opinion, this is definitely relevant in today's society
